22 Movie Trailers To Drag You Back Into The Cinema, Maybe

I heard a dance record titled "We've lost dancing" a while ago and that triggered a slew of thoughts on what else we've lost as a social society that enjoys a good time out. And of course part of that exclusion has been not being able to watch a movie on the big screen. I can't remember when I was last in a cinema. Probably most of us have seen many over a streaming service over the past year or so, but something's quite different about seeing the same action on a giant canvas with mega sound from all around. Perhaps it reminds me the joy of going to movies as a kid. It was always a big deal because we weren't well off and my dad was busy all the time. From picking the seats to finding the way through the dark looking for them, trying not to spill any kacang puteh along the way, trying not to trip over other people's feet, hoping the seats were not in a sorry state of torn leather and escaping sponge stuffing, it was all a wonderful adventure.

I am one of those moviegoers who enjoys previews. I like being teased about what's coming. When the lights go down, the ads go away, the trailers run and I'm all abuzz about what's coming in the next few months. The anticipation borne out of a minute-long preview can be enough to send film fans into spasms of expectation frenzy for months. Remember when the Matrix 2 and 3 trailers came out? Even Avengers Endgame. Good lord, the internal mayhem that ensued and external banter on soclal media. Hence the link below.

22 short insights into what you might see on a screen, big or small, this year. For me, this was a brilliant 45 minutes of entertainment. Lunch for your brain sorted.
